Your privacy is extremely important to us. TrackNag is built around a secure, offline-first architecture to ensure that you have complete ownership and control over your job search data. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use our application.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

A. Local Device Data:
All your job application progress, recruiter contacts, company pipelines, notes, and activity logs are stored strictly on your local device using a high-performance SQLite database. We do not have access to this data, and it never leaves your device unless you choose to back it up.

B. Account and Sync Information:
If you choose to use our Cloud Sync feature, we collect your Email Address to create and authenticate your account. Your local database is backed up as a single, secure JSON state to our secure database servers (powered by Supabase). This data is transmitted securely and stored with industry-standard encryption. We do not track, read, or process individual data rows or activity details from this backup.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your email address solely to:
- Authenticate your account and prevent unauthorized access.
- Securely store and retrieve your personal database backup.
- Provide user support when requested.

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address or job search data with any third parties, advertisers, or analytics networks.

3. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
=========================================

- Local Data: You can delete all local data at any time by uninstalling the application or clearing the application cache.
- Account and Cloud Backups: You can permanently delete your account and all cloud-synced data at any time via Settings > Delete Account & Data within the app. This action is immediate and irreversible - your account, login credentials, and cloud database backup are erased right away. You can also request deletion by contacting us at support@tracknag.com.

We implement robust, industry-standard security protocols to protect your cloud backups during transmission and storage. Your data is encrypted in transit using SSL/TLS and encrypted at rest on our secure database servers.
